I'm flippin' crazy.

I started law school this week. I think I'm insane. I just finished one graduate program, now I'm jumping in head first right back into the deep end. I didn't realize how much work actually goes into it until now - and we aren't even out of orientation. You can watch Legally Blonde 17 times and read all the "How to succeed in law school" books that Amazon can ship you, but only now do I really get it.

Moral of the story is that the time in between postings is going to exponentially increase starting now. I'm going to try to keep a little something on needles in my locker at school (yes, that's right - we have lockers!) so that when I need to just break away I can knit for a little. I set my school/study/work schedule today, and I was careful to leave an hour every evening to take a walk or knit or just read anything besides casebooks.

Anyway, enough pity party for Amanda. I finished two more of the ballbands in my last weekend of freedom. I really love these colors, they are so bright and festive. It's hard to tell from the bad lighting, but the background colors are varigated subtly.

I've made about 6 or so of these things now. Washcloths are the knitting addiction of the month. Scarves have now fallen by the wayside. Posted by Picasa

Amanda - I hear you with school starting again. The freshmen moved in today - I'm quite scared!

Also - you ought to try knitting and reading at the same time where you can. Those big black binder clips are great for holding pages open and the book flat while you knit. I do not recommend this for lace obviously. Maybe some garter stitch or stockinette though.

Watch Legally Blonde again, but don't watch Legally Blonde II. That was just a travesty. Keep knitting!
Can I send you presents yet?

Amanda,
Wow, you must really want to become an attorney if you're willing to curtail your knitting that much! : )
Love the washcloths.

I've been offline too long. I'm sorry I didn't see this until now. I wish you great success with your education and when you come out the other side, I hope you will be a very successful attorney! The world needs GOOD attorneys, believe me. We're searching right now ourselves.

And don't forget to take care of you along the way, too. Studying can sap the life out of you.

Amanda, just dropping by to see how you're doing and find out if you're still alive. Hope all is well, and that you'll grace us with an update soon!

You're it!

THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the ‘6 weird things about you.’ People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says ‘you are tagged’ in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

Come on....I'm sure you have a little time to do this one....
