I'm kinda an idiot when it comes to knitting. I got so excited to start this project, I just picked the same sized needles that I would normally use for this yarn, and started the pattern. Because the pattern calls for size 6 and I used size 9, you can imagine how big it is turning out. I'm only on block #7 out of #10 (and the last few blocks are huge), so my baby blanket it going to probably be a toddler or a young child blanket. Oops. It's still fun to make, so I won't cry over it too long.

Wow, that's really coming along beautifully! Great job!
That looks really nice! I am thinking of doing one for my bed. You keep making these wonderful things and I'm not going to need ideas of my own! :)
I think it's looking great. And it's always nice to give a baby a blanket they can grow into - you know, wrap up like a pig in a blanket, or use as a superman cape.
