Hmm, you already have such good books! I love Favorite Socks. There are lots and lots of good patterns. :)
Barbara Walker's treasuries are very inspirational. I have #1 and my husband just gave me #2 for my birthday. I think you would enjoy either of those :)
happy knitting :)
How about Knitting in Plain English or any of Elizabeth Zimmerman's books. They are funny and have a lot of tips in them.
Of the list you have, I'd say Stitch and Bitch, because it really clearly explains techniques. But I'm also with Hakucho and Lynda -- I have the Walker treasuries and Zimmermann's Knitting Without Tears and Knitting Around and I use them all the time.
(by the way, thanks for the nice comment on my blog -- I came over here to check out yours!)
I really like More Sensational Knitted Socks. Also, the Harmony Guide stitch pattern books are good too!
Thanks for visiting my blog :)
Heya -
I'd vote for favorite socks...or, if you're looking at starting to knit some sweaters (the kind that would require seaming), I highly recommend the knitters book of finishing techniques. it made seaming my first seater a dream... I felt like a seaming genious!
Umm....I know a couple of books you shouldn't buy. You might want to wait a few days before you place any orders. I'm just saying.....(hint)
#2 - great patterns and interesting reading.
All the Elizabeth Zimmerman books are awesome to read - not only great patterns but very entertaining reading as well!
